Toys 4 Tots Benefit Tournament
One of the great things we get to do at Fish North Georgia is to help with our community activities. We are pleased to announce that we will be participating with the Big Shanty Bassmasters in hosting a benefit tournament on Dec. 7, 2024 at Laurel Park on Lake Lanier. This will be benefitting the Hall County Toys 4 Tots program and will enable many children in the community to have a joyful and happy Christmas this year.
The Lake Lanier fishing community is one of the most generous group of people around. They always step up when the time comes and we know that this will be no exception. The anglers participating will pay an entry fee and each individual will donate two unwrapped toys for the kids. Sponsors have stepped up and generously donated $5,000 to the first place team. The remaining winners will receive monies from the entry fees and the payouts will be determined by the amount of boats entered. This could be a huge tournament and the goal is to collect as many toys as possible for the children.
We will be broadcasting the weigh in "LIVE" on our Youtube channel and you can find that link on the home page of our website.
If you are interested in possibly fishing the event and would like more information, you can email us at danny@fngo.com or check out the Fish North Georgia Group on Facebook where we will be posting more information leading up to the event.
Being involved in our community and giving back where possible is one of the reasons we started Fish North Georgia and we welcome the opportunity to serve and take part helping others when we can. We also strongly encourage every individual to do their part to help others and build up the communities where they live. We all have something to give and it will take all of us to make this world a better place.
